Returns & Refunds Policy – EQUILIGHT

At EQUILIGHT, we want every purchase to bring confidence and satisfaction. But we understand that occasionally something may need to be returned. Please take a moment to review our policy to ensure a smooth and fair returns process.

Unwanted Items

If you’re not entirely happy with your purchase, you can return it within 30 days of the original order date. Unfortunately, we’re unable to accept returns received after this period.

For items bought in person at shows or events, our return period is 14 days, and we offer store credit only for these purchases — refunds are not issued for event sales.

Return Requirements

Returned items must meet the following conditions:

  • Must be unused, unmarked, and unwashed

  • Returned in the original storage bag with all tags and labelling intact

All returns are thoroughly checked before any refund or credit is processed. Items not returned in a resaleable condition may either be declined or subject to a restocking fee.

Refunds

We aim to process approved refunds within 10 working days. Please allow an additional up to 7 business days for funds to appear in your account, depending on your payment provider.

We strongly recommend using a tracked or recorded postal service, as EQUILIGHT cannot be held responsible for items lost during transit.

In cases where an item does not meet our return criteria, we reserve the right to return it to you in the condition received.

Promotional Free Gifts

If you received a complimentary gift as part of a promotion, this must be returned with your order. If not included, the retail value of the gift — along with a 10% handling fee based on the original EQUILIGHT item’s price — will be deducted from your refund.

Store Credit Option

Need a different size, colour or style? We’re happy to offer a credit to your EQUILIGHT account instead of a refund. Your credit will be ready to use as soon as your return is processed, making reordering simple and convenient.

Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order when it arrives. If anything is damaged, faulty or not what you expected, contact us straight away so we can make it right as quickly as possible.

Items Not Eligible for Return

We’re unable to accept returns on the following:

  • Products broken due to misuse
  • Gift cards

How to Request a Return

Please complete the Request Return form at the bottom of this page.

We aim to respond within 2 working days of receiving your form. Once your return has been approved, you will need to send the item back in its original condition (unworn, unused, with tags attached) to the address provided. Please make sure to include our completed Returns Form with your parcel

  • Returns sent without contacting us first will not be accepted.
  • All return/exchange postage costs are the responsibility of the purchaser unless the item is faulty on arrival or an error has been made on our part. Please allow up to 10 working days for your refund or exchange to be processed once we receive your item.

International Returns

Customers outside the UK are responsible for all return shipping costs. Please book your parcel as “Return to Sender” and quote the original waybill number as proof to avoid customs charges.
