Not All Hi-Vis Is Equal 

Let’s break it down – because no one wants to spend money on something that doesn’t work for them. 

We're all for practicality — if it’s not functional, we don’t make it. 

Simple Tips for Staying Safe This Summer 

  • Wear hi-vis every single time you ride – no matter how short the hack 

  • Use gear for both you and your horse 

  • Keep your phone charged and zipped away (our vest pockets are perfect for that) 

  • Let someone know where you’re heading 

  • Don’t assume you’re visible just because it’s sunny 

And honestly? It’s just one of those things you’ll never regret wearing — but could absolutely regret not wearing. 

And Just So You Know… 

If you're ever involved in an incident and you're not wearing hi-vis, it could affect your insurance. Some policies may say you didn’t take reasonable precautions. 

Sections 50–51 of the Highway Code also strongly recommend fluorescent and reflective gear for both riders and horses — especially in low light or poor visibility. It’s not just good practice. It’s expected.
